When we purchase a vehicle for stock it is carefully checked on arrival to ensure it is of Broad Town Standard.

The vast majority of our vehicles are purchased via new car main dealers and major fleet sources who we have dealt with for over a number of years.

Sunday Closed

Here at Broad Town Cars we are a family run business. We do not employ salesman preferring to use our vast knowledge and experience in the motor trade to help make sure you get the right car for you.

Andrew is in full control of the car sales and has been working 6 days a week since 1983 - Something that as he is getting older he is finding increasingly difficult to do !

Because of this we have taken the decision to open EVERY OTHER Saturday from now on, giving him some extra time to recuperate each week !!

Please contact us before coming to view a car on a Saturday to MAKE SURE we are open – As an added service we will also be available for late appointments on Monday evenings to allow people who have missed us at the weekends to come and view or collect their cars.

I am sure that you can appreciate why we have decided to do this and hope that it is not too inconvenient for everyone.

Stock

Our proprietor views many hundreds of vehicles each week searching for the most desirable stock, therefore if you do not see the exact vehicle you are looking for in our display, please give us your requirements, we will add it to your shopping list!

Test Drives


We are pleased to offer test drives. We want to make sure that you purchase a vehicle you feel comfortable in and suits your pocket.

Taxing Your New Car

We have available all the latest road tax costs to comply with the vehicle emissions. This is a graduated cost and varies for each vehicle depending on it's fuel type and its emissions rating - please ask for the cost of the tax on the vehicle you are interested in, although most of them should be displayed on this web site.


When you have made your purchase closer to delivery time we will email you a link to the DVLA web site and instructions on how to tax your new car.

Have You Got A Part Exchange?

We will always consider taking a part exchange. It must be remembered due to the nature and price point of the vehicles we specialise in our options of what we can do are quite limited. Like all business we have targets to meet and prices offered will depend on our current target position.

Display Cars

Cars on display have not been serviced or pre delivery checked. In the unlikely event that you do find a fault we are quite happy to put this right at the pre delivery stage.

After Sales

We are very proud that we are not only a car sales operation but also run a fully equipped workshop and MOT testing station. Not all small car dealers can offer this, it also means we can offer a full after sales backup and are able to look after you vehicle long after the initial purchase.

Payments Accepted

We encourage all customers to make payment by direct transfer for all balances. Deposits by card however are still accepted.


We accept most major debit and credit cards; we are more than happy to take these as a deposit. On receipt of a deposit you will receive a customer information sheet with all the payment details and bank transfer information on it. However a brief summary of this is printed below:


  • Direct Transfer (preferred method): On receipt of a deposit, we will supply you will all the details and time frames required to complete a transfer to us in time to collect your new vehicle.
  • Cash
  • Bankers Draft
  • Building Society Cheque (This is fine as long as it is one made out direct from the counter staff to us)
Car Finance

We are sometimes asked about finance. We took the decision to stop offering this option. More and more often we started to find that our customers had usually already sourced funding before coming to look at the car. In the present climate it also became apparent that like most things there are deals all over the internet and when comparing what customers could get direct from the lenders it was sometimes better than we could offer ! Consequently we just do what we do best which is to find, prepare and sell cars.

Warranties

All vehicles sold over £2500 are sold with a pre delivery service, a minimum of 6 months MOT and a comprehensive warranty. They are also checked to ensure all their functions and features are working and remember we do all of this in our workshops.

Appointments

While appointments to view are not strictly necessary, they are preferred, allowing us to give you our best attention. Please let us know the registration number of the car(s) you are interested in and we can get you booked in for an appointment.
